: Thank you for this heads-up. You're right on all counts: the Fandom FFXV wiki is better organized and staffed, and what potential editors there might be would do better in placing their efforts there. For all intents and purposes, I've been the lone editor of this wiki since I joined Gamepedia 2-3 years ago, and I'm about all there is in terms of a community here. That said, I regret that I don't have anything to offer in the way of "valid objections," even though I've known for a while that the shoe would drop eventually. I've learned a lot while editing this wiki, and, even if it is still desperately empty of content and people, I've enjoyed building and putting my time into it. I know that it wouldn't serve the larger community to have a lesser duplicate. In that way, my objection is purely sentimental. If I alone can't serve as "the editing community," and my "no" vote isn't sufficient on its own, I understand. It's my intention to continue editing the Gamepedia FFXV wiki until lights out. Thank you again. --01:32, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[[User:Rose madder glasses|Rose madder glasses]] ([[User talk:Rose madder glasses|talk]])

Project Crossover

See Project Crossover announcements on Fandom and Gamepedia

As part of Project Crossover, we're considering merging the Final Fantasy XV Wiki on Gamepedia into the Final Fantasy Wiki on Fandom to reduce the split of information and editor efforts. This process is optional, and communities that would prefer to remain separate will not be forced to merge.
As far as I can tell, the FF Wiki on Fandom has all the same information as this wiki, but with greater detail in a lot of areas. This wiki also doesn't appear to have much of an editing community.

The Crossover process would entail locking the wiki from further editing and including notices directing the viewer to the Fandom wiki. This wiki would otherwise still be open for viewing indefinitely. If anyone has any objections or other thoughts about this, please respond to this post and share them. If there are no objections, the process will begin after a month from this post.

Thank you for this heads-up. --01:32, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Rose madder glasses (talk)
It's been a month since the notice went up, so it's now time to archive this wiki. I hope you can perhaps give editing on the Fandom wiki a try. Your expertise and everything you've learned editing here would certainly be appreciated over there, too - but I also understand if that just wouldn't mean the same to you. Thanks for understanding and for allowing the community to have a chance at uniting on the more active wiki! Mira Laime (talk) 23:01, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
